Library

Today, we went to library. Before we hit the library, we decided it was a good day for donuts. (Is there ever a bad day for donuts? :P) As we were parking, we realized the library was right next to a park, so after choosing our books, we decided to go play for a bit. I hung upside down on the monkey bars and was chastised for this by my oldest son, who expressed the concern that since Papa Bear is currently overseas on business, it would be a really bad time for me to break myself. I'm not certain whether to be impressed with his sense of responsibility or offended at how old and crunchy he obviously thinks I am. :P As luck would have it, the ice cream truck pulled up just as we were leaving, so Taz got her first ice cream from a truck. Pink Panther. Yummy. :) She had earlier decided that her Elmo blanket needed to check an Elmo book out from the library. Now, how can you argue with logic like that? :) Once home, we did some math and science, Cub edited his paper on rabbits, and everyone read their new books. Then it was off to AWANA and youth. Not a bad day at all, I must say. :)
