You just never know

 what's going to sprout up in our living room. :)

Cub turns 13 in less than two weeks, and as part of his birthday celebration, he and Papa Bear are going to go tent camping for the weekend. Since our tent met its demise while we were in Washington (the thing was 15 years old), we decided to buy a new one for the occasion. We thought we were being smart and thrifty by buying a tent that could also serve as the family camping tent. We didn't realize just exactly how big this thing was going to be.

 So, I think Papa Bear is going to be heading back to Big 5 to pick up a slightly more manageable two person backpacking tent for their weekend excursion. :)

Taz decided that she was going to make a person out of shapes while the boys were watching TV with Papa Bear before bed tonight. I think she did a very nice job. :)

After she got ready for bed, she also decided that the person needed to have black hair and colored clothes. I foresee this project spanning several days.  I should probably find someplace other than the dining room floor for her to work. :)
