And so begins another week. :) This one will be short because we're planning a field trip to the LA fair on Friday. I was actually completely unprepared for school today. I spent Saturday arguing with EduTracker trying to get it set up (I really may just be one of those people who are old school pen-and-paper forever. Think colleges will accept the kids transcripts written sideways on blank paper in pink pen?). Sunday, Papa Bear and I had an impromptu date. :) We spent the afternoon driving along the beach in the beautiful fall weather. So, the school planning I intended to do this weekend didn't happen. That did not mean, however, that school didn't happen. We were just a little fly-by-the-seat-of-our-pants today.

What better place to wing it than in the 8 person tent in the living room? :P

| Taz finished coloring her shape person. |
| And moved on to coloring her brother. :P |
| She's watching Thomas the Train while he reads.....something. History, I think? |
Crawdad finished up Bigger Unit 4 by making his acrostic of Pocahontas. He wrote it down on the math table first, then copied it onto paper. He thought the paper looked a little blank with just the acrostic on there, so he added some illustrations. Then we glued it to scrapbook paper.
| He also did timeline work today. This is his finished acrostic laying on top of his timeline in progress. | | |

| Reviewing mulitplying/dividing fractions in pre-Algebra. |
Cub finished his RTR Unit 3 notebooking pages today. He also started A Midsmmer Night's Dream in Tales From Shakespeare. He likes this one much less than The Tempest from last week, but I promised him he would, in fact, survive the exposure. :P
| Just because he's cute. :) |
