The Last Few Days

The last several days, Taz and I have been reading (and re-reading and reading some more) the Farmer Dillo series. Her favorite is Farmer Dillo Counts His Chickens. :) Today, she spent some time working on sheets from her Abeka ABC-123 workbook.
Very proud of her 10's and her name. :)

Who knew Jumpstart was so interesting? :P

Cub finished his RTR Unit 4 notebooking pages, after a little computer research on Constantinople.

Cheesestick thief. :P

Crawdad added some independent reading to his history this week.

Shapes and colors with Caillou.
The Sea Monster returns from Magic Mountain. Giggle.

To the right, Cub works on models over the weekend while Taz cuddles in and watches Go Diego Go next to him. Way too cute. :)

Below, Cub takes a grammar assessment test while Crawdad does some math. And gets a little distracted (see the Pac Man math answer below :P).

Like I said, a little distracted. :P

Crawdad working on AWANA verses and eating beans with toast. Cub getting a little art history/appreciation in, whether he wants to or not. Evil Mama. :-D

We learned about fire safety today. (No, this is not the safe part. Giggle.) We practiced putting out a kitchen fire with a pot lid and learned how to use the fire extinguisher. We set the smoke detector off and practiced getting outside. We discussed NOT going back inside for the phone (or the dog or your favorite cuddly). Not expecting a fire, but still useful info.

Crawdad is learning about chemical vs physical changes, so he was practicing sorting different changes into the correct category.
