Well, not really. :P Really, it's Wednesday, but since I felt all day yesterday like it was Friday, today did feel an awful lot like Monday to me. It's Co-op on Tuesdays, that's what it is. I know we'll get used to it. I'm just not quite there yet. :)
The boys practicing music.

| Taz dressed her Elmo blanket up in clothes. She thought that was the funniest thing she had ever seen. :P |
 |
| Just doing some school work. :) Crawdad is working in his phonics book and Cub is reading his RTR extension book. |
 |
| YAY!! |
Cub studied his Spanish homework for Co-op, and I realized that my high school Spanish is
exceptionally rusty. He says we should learn together. Not a bad idea, that. :) Cub also finished A Midsummer Night's Dream. He was overjoyed to no end. I don't think he realizes that he gets to start Winter's Tale next week.
 |
| Taz grabbed my hand and pulled me outside to show me what she had done in leaves. Creative kiddo! |
 |
| Crawdad compared needs to wants as an assignment in Bigger. I was so proud that he added God to the needs column along with food, shelter, and water. :) I was also fairly amused that cake made his wants column. |
Taz made herself some paper dolls today. She did it all on her own, and I thought she did an amazing job! After her friend took a nap, she went to church to be a "Cuvie" (AWANA Cubbie), which is what Taz is going to do tonight. Crawdad and I talked about how little girls used to make and play with paper dolls all the time. Cub and I talked about role playing as a way to familiarize oneself with appropriate behavior in new situations.
What a great week! Hey is that HHH4J on your computer ;)
ReplyDeleteI am always impressed when a mom can manage to homeschool and take pictures! I always forget the picture taking part.
Blessings,
Christy
The boys were working independently, so it probably was HHH4J. :)
ReplyDeleteI always forgot to take pictures too, until I started the blog and realized I was going to have nothing to post if I didn't remember to use the camera!
Looks like a great week!
ReplyDeleteI really like your dining room table/booth. It looks like such a comfy place to do school!
Taz is SO creative!
