of things...mostly. :P Everyone did full school days this week, even as we enjoyed the sunshine and tried to find our way out of "vacation mode."
Someone brought a puppy to Co-op this week, and Taz loved patting it on the head on her way to the slide (right). She also loves swinging on things (below). She's having more fun than she looks like, honest. :P
| One of her buddies swings her around. She can hold on pretty well now. She's even gotten good at landing. |
| A quick glimpse into Crawdad's Co-op science class. They were watching the effects of inertia, I believe. |
Cub LOVES his art class. Here, they are learning to paint with acrylics, which he decided he likes much better than watercolors. He won't let me see what he's painting yet, though. It's a Mother's Day gift. :)
The boys both had belt tests this week, and they both passed with flying colors. :)

| Cub doing some sort of punch-roll-kick combination |
| Cub doing his form |
The one below cracks me up. The boys are demonstrating their self-defense techniques, but they were paired up together. I just found it amusing that the instructors had them showing how to take down.....their brother. :P
| Cub breaking a board using a step-behind side kick |
| Crawdad broke his board using a spinning back kick. |
| The decided we needed chocolate chip cookies. Who am I to argue? :P |
| Developing the Early Learner, book 2 |
Practicing their stick forms and sparring for the upcoming tournament.
| Wait a minute...aren't you supposed to be reading that book? (Cub, not the cat.) |
| That's better. :P |
Taz tries to talk to her brothers through the closed window. Um, why not just come outside, silly girl?
Below, we have science on the front walk. I don't remember what body system he was reading about here.
| Crawdad and his nature reader |
| Reading worksheets--his favorite. NOT! :) |
Right, Taz colors Mickey Mouse while Cub does math. Below, Taz broke out her foam puzzles, and Cub just had to take a moment to join in. :)
| Crawdad's notebooking page on the structure of the inside of a leaf |
And now, with Cub and Papa Bear on a father/son camp out, and Crawdad and Taz playing happily, I'm going to take a gander at what we'll be using come August. Yep, it's about that time. :)
