I was curious why there were no character traits on the lists, so I asked Cub about it. He said that good character has always just been expected, as long as he can remember, so he really didn't think of it as "taught" anymore. I can live with that. :)
Lord, thank You for these precious gifts. Please help us be the parents You would have us be.
Hahaha - "Trust mom, not dad, with new food" and "Don't lick the dog"
ReplyDeleteWise advice from a wise woman. ;-)
"Don't lick the dog" was from when he was about 5. The dog licked him, so he licked it back. :P Remind me to tell you the story behind, "Don't sing everything you hear on Shrek."
ReplyDeleteMy younger girls are doing that same Notgrass Bible/art, so it's fun to compare drawings! :-)
ReplyDeleteGood job, boys!
