Light Day

I have declared today a light day. :) The boys have belt testing in Karate this afternoon at an earlier time than their usual classes, and I'm not in the mood to rush and push through our day. So, today will consist of math, grammar, reading or Lit (depending on which kid you are :)), Bible, and science (for Cub). That's it. No HOD (so no history or projects or notebook pages) or electives. We should be done nicely by lunch.

Cub's finished RTR pages. These are actually from last Friday, but I didn't get the pic up until today.

Taz wanted a picnic lunch. I thought it was very big of Crawdad not to comment on the fact that his sister laid out the pink blanket for him. :)

Crawdad played Clue Finders 4th grade for the first time. He was less impressed with this than with the regular Jumpstart games, which he loves. I also laughed out loud at him at math time. We opened his math book and saw that we had a review section. "Oh cool!" he says. "I love long division!" Really, kid? Now that's just weird! :P

Cub took up his usual corner of the table and settled in with his work.

Then he started this week's notebooking pages (left) and did some science (bottom).

Awww. Couldn't resist this shot. They were just so sweet! :)
