My Poor Neglected Blog :P

OK, we've been a little busy over the holidays, and way off schedule, which always throws me, so I've gotten out of the habit of posting. Now that regular life is starting to resume again, though, so will my posts. I like being able to look back over the year and see our journey. Hmm. I'd probably like to be able to see what we did over the break, too, huh? Perhaps I'll be a little more diligent next break. We'll see. :P

Cub did three full days of school this week. Today, I let him do only the HOD notebooking page assignments so that we could have time to take advantage of the beautiful weather and ride bikes. To the right, he is trying a science experiment where he crosses his arms and tries to move certain fingers to help him learn about how the brain functions.

 Taz learned how to play Skylanders on the Wii.

She also rode a bike for the very first time. :)

Cub on his new bike. He had owngrown the old one.

Crawdad learned to ride today without training wheels (above). I didn't even realize he didn't already know that, but when I think about it, he hasn't actually owned a bike since Texas. We didn't move the bikes with us to England, and we lived in the woods in WA.  He did great, though. It took him two tries before he had it down. :) 

He has not been doing school with his brother this week, as he had Karate day camp all week. They have class in the mornings, and then in the afternoons, they do cool things like go bowling or have nerf gun fights. Below, he is giving himself rabbit ears, since there was no one else in the picture to give them to. Goofy kid. :P

That pretty much sums up our week. Oh, and Lightning got a bath. :P
