This has been a short week. Cub left today for a ski trip, and since we have Band/Co-op on Tuesdays, we only had two real school days. Now, I know that Crawdad and Taz and I could still do full school days today and tomorrow, but let's face it--we aren't gonna. :P That's OK. I need to do some refiguring on Taz's school stuff anyway.

Princess Taz played with Clics in her very sparkly princess dress. No, we weren't going anywhere--she just wanted to be a sparkly princess. :) I learned that glitter covered dresses also mean glittered covered.....everything else. Floors, couches, chairs, blankets. That dress sheds glitter, as do several of her other sparkly outfits. Oh well. The Age of the Princess Taz will be entirely too short, I'm sure. We'll enjoy the glitter while it's here. :)

Crawdad studies all things apostrophe
3DS, laptop, and Xbox intermittent game going on. Yep, he is his father's son. :P. And apparently, he's his sister's brother, as those are her Hello Kitty headphones he's wearing. Giggle.

Right, Cub is caught mid-yawn as he gets an early start to try to get his work done before it's time to leave for the ski trip. Below, Miss Taz has raided my jewelry box and is wearing some of my old charm bracelets. I think they are cuter on her than they ever were on me. :)

Ready to head out and snowboard. I'm praying there are no oncoming trees in his future! :)

Happily waiting on the youth bus

Giggling over something in his book

Below is a note I received at the bottom of one of Crawdad's math sheets. He had been pestering me for ice cream for awhile, but I was busy and kept telling him to just do one more assignment first. I knew something was up when he handed me the sheet because of all the suppressed giggling. I graded the sheet, corrected the word "death," and handed it back to him without a word. Which earned me a groan and and a small lecture. "Mooooomm! You don't CORRECT a ransom note!" he says, as he smacks himself in the forehead. "Well, you do if you're a mother," I say. Giggle.

Wearing one of Cub's undershirts that she dug out of his basket of (thankfully clean) clothes. She was really not happy that he was leaving.

And this is the little fluffball that gave us all coronaries last night by squeezing himself out through the bottom of the gate that Taz had bumped with her bike and accidentally left slightly ajar. I did not have a good feeling about the fate of a little black dog on the streets in the dark. The kids, especially Taz, were all very worried and upset. Fortunately, thanks to an older woman down the street and what I'm sure were borrowed Guardian Angels, he was home safe and sound before bedtime. And Taz got to see us pray to the Lord who can see us, even though He's "way up there" and have Him answer yes. :)

ROFL at the photo of Cub in the Hello Kitty headphones! And tell Princess Taz that she is beautiful!
