It's been a good week (except for the virus that has been keeping poor Papa Bear in bed with fever and chills since Monday :( that is).

Oh yeah, he's not a distracting little furball at all. :P

Miss Taz is LOVING her bike. The leaves tend to get in her way, though, so the boys and I have been sweeping them off the patio for her. We took a little too long one day, and she took matters into her own hands.  Gotta love her initiative....and she did a pretty good job, too! :)

Cub did well on his science test (and his math quiz, although I didn't get a pic of that one).

Crawdad demonstrated the different ways birds fly in Bigger science (flutter, soar, glide, flap, etc).

Cub thought he looked cold. Oh yeah, not a spoiled dog at all. :P

So glad the church that houses Co-op has a playground. :)

Co-op scheduled the coolest presentation this past Tuesday. It was done by the Living History Museum, and Ben Franklin came to visit. It was especially cool for Crawdad, who is currently studying Mr Franklin. The presenter was wonderful--very engaging and also pretty funny. He even mentioned Amos (from Ben and Me, our Read Aloud from a few months ago :)). The boys thoroughly enjoyed it.

Cub even got to be a volunteer and work the lights for an electricity demonstration.

Crawdad makes faces at the camera as I take a pic of him doing math in the truck while we wait for Cub to get out of his Constitution class.

Taz showing off the flowers she picked on our walk around the church grounds (left) and doing a few R&S workbook pages (below).

Cub's finished RTR pages for Unit.....um, I'm actually not quite sure. :P

Just schoolin' :)

Tonight was career night at AWANA. Crawdad would like to be a demolitions expert in the Army Corps of Engineering, so he's wearing fatigues and holding a stick of TNT. He wants to blow things up for a living. That's my Crawdad. :)

  1. Looks like a great week!

Taz looks like she's having fun on her bike, and that pic of her in the front of the van doing her workbook is toooo cute!

As always, Cub's HOD notebooking pages are awesome. He really is a talented artist. :-)
And I like crawdad's costume. That is so creative!

Wow - how cool is that Ben Franklin presentation?! That would have been so much fun to see.

  2. Michelle, the Ben Franklin presentation was the coolest thing ever! He was such a wonderful presenter.

Cub thanks you. :) I actually wasn't as pleased with these. He's trying a new coloring technique, and he's not good at it yet. :P

We were a little concerned that Crawdad would get dinged for the dynamite because of the no weapons policy (even pretend ones), but apparently TNT isn't a weapon (even when one repeatedly "blows up" one's classmates with it. Boys. *rolling eyes).

  3. LOL...Yeah, TNT is a 'useful tool' in many jobs. (Jobs my DS wants I might add!) ;-)
