Our Homeschool Traveling Zoo: Flurry

....of activity, that is. Not snow flurries, although the kids would love that. :P Wrong time of year and region of the country, I'm thinking. What follows is the most disorganized blog post ever, just a random compilation of some of our recent flurry. :)

Taz and Crawdad had a fabulous time making mini-monsters out of modeling clay. And then their monsters battled each other. Yeah, she's growing up with brothers, that's all I can say. :P

A little school in the....driveway (above). He's lucky the scooter chase (below) didn't run him over. :P

Crawdad doing some reading, complete with a scooter injury on his right ankle. Taz was very concerned and just about loved him to death. Giggle.

This is occupational therapy at home. Only us, I know. :P Taz's OT has this great swing that she rolls our Taz up in and swings her until the dark and the motion make for a nice, calm Taz. Since we don't have a blanket swing on an I-Hook in our living room, Cub and I improvised. It worked beautifully, I must say. :)

This cute little house magically appeared on our front drive one day. We were all mystified as to its origin. Well, except for Taz, who really didn't care where it came from as long as she got to keep it. :P A few phone calls determined our landlord's foreman had dropped it off for Taz when the owner of a house they were doing work on decided to throw it away. Wasn't that nice of him? Taz is in heaven. :)

Left, Taz decorates and eats cookies. They were part of a kit from the local bakery, so not homemade, but she didn't seem to mind. (Neither did the boys, who kept wandering by and stealing one. :P) Below, she's taking pictures with my phone. Cracks me up. I think she can work the thing better than I can.
