Fall

I love seasons. :) I love snow in winter, flowers in spring, swimming in summer, and COLORS in fall.

We have not had time since school started to venture out into the mountains and hike amidst the splendor, but there is plenty of God's glorious fall beauty to behold right here in town. I'm not usually into scenery pics, but I just couldn't resist snapping a few of the gorgeous color explosion. I actually took more, but no matter how many I post, the camera (or my skill with it, at least :P) just does not do the season justice.

Taken through the sun roof of the suburban :)

Of course, fall means the corn maze....

Goofy boys  :)

Partners in crime :)

Yep, that's my girl alright. :P

We've also done school...

They're doing geometry. No really. They are not at all distracted and drawing random things on the white board. :P

See? This definitely is NOT a drawing of the members of North Crew (Sea Scouts) as ants nibbling a cranberry chocolate chip cookie. Nope, it sure isn't. Giggle.

Using paper dolls to learn about even/odd numbers

School by the fire. It was 43 and raining outside. I think he had the right idea!

Everyone else agreed and snuggled up by the fire for story time. :)

Above, we have lunchtime at Legacy Co-op (Taz wore her lion costume that day. Cub was obviously very excited that I bought him a cheeseburger instead of packing him a sandwich. :P)

And below, a little general goofing off. :)

Fun with dominoes

The mark of one of our more creative friends :)

That would be a metal playing card that was thrown through the can. One of the things Crawdad does with his friends. :P

A little Halloween costume help

And Crawdad's version of dominoes. A fort for his guys, complete with turrets. I love it. :)

We began our annual November thankfulness collage....

...saw deer in the yard...

..and candlelit our way through a windstorm induced power outage.

Stay tuned for Adventures in Flats...aka How Many Teenagers Does It Take to Change a Tire? (They were awesome, btw, to give up their afternoon to get us mobile again.) :)
