Christmas!

Yeah, I know. I'm obviously behind on blog posts when even Liberty comments that it's been awhile. :P We had a fantastic Christmas this year and a start to the new year that left me feeling truly blessed.

There was the tree to trim...

          We had fix-it elf...

    ...and protector elf.

Gifts to open...

Crawdad talked me into buying her the giant blue hippo. Good call, Crawdad. :-)

It's a Magic thing... :P

Silly :-)

Crawdad says if I want decent pics of myself, then I should stop making these sorts of faces at the camera. He may have a point. We aren't even going to talk about Cub's face in the background. :P

There were projects to undertake, Lego's to build, games to play, the Christmas Eve service to attend, stockings on Christmas morning, and, of course, a Happy Birthday Jesus cake to make and devour. :-)

Seriously, boys?

On our way to the Christmas Eve service with the goofballs in the picture above.

Aside from a tiny part of the roof, she built it all by herself.

Helping make the cake

She did it!

Cub cleared out an area in the shed to set up a workout area. He put his new punching bag to good use. :-)

Throwing sharp, poiny objects with friends during the holiday break

We also watched marathons of family movies, messed around on the ATV's (well, they did, anyway :P), and visited the ice caves, which were awe inspiring and beautiful.

It was a wondrous, blessed Christmas, and I am exceedingly thankful for it. Praying for good things in the new year. "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is in work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." Ephesians 3:20-21

(And if you think this blog post is late, wait 'til I get around to posting up Halloween. :P)
