Settled In

We are, I believe, settled in to our new house and our new activities (Thanks to Liberty and Co. for the smoothest transition ever :)). The boys (and I! :P) are taking piano lessons, the weather has been beautiful for the most part, and school is wrapping up. We're having fun with friends and are just generally thankful to have been blessed with the ability to pitch our tent in the great, albeit rainy, state of Washington. :)

Miss Taz does a reading worksheet that is way too easy--she just wanted to use scissors and glue. :P

He's a very large, mostly non-fluffy cat? Giggle. Worn-completely-out-from-Sea-Scouts teenage boy napping in the sun.

Playing Magic (the card game)

Learning how to peel her own hard boiled egg

Cub's favorite reading spot (when it isn't raining). Reminds me of his Mama at that age. :)

Above and below....just schoolin'

Under the blanket on the right are a very cold Taz and a heater vent. Smart girl. :)
Taz loves the chalkboard on the kitchen wall. Here, she's practicing her latest skill--adding items to the grocery list. :)

She calls it "Blowy Dandelion Land," and she thinks it's the most wonderful place in the world. :)

Next year's school books. I love box day!!

She was quiet, so I went searching and found her piled up on her bed with a stack of books. LOVE! :)

Headed to Sea Scouts. When did he get so.....grown???

Blues Clues Birthday Bash and cheese crackers--what a lovely afternoon combination. :)

Above is the doodle Crawdad was creating on the whiteboard. Below is the problem on scientific notation he was supposed to be working. That's my Crawdad. :)

I loved this pic. She's reading in her fort.....and he's studying above it. :)

Well, that's one way to study for a science test. :P

  1. Love this update!

Wow! - Cub looks super tall! When did he turn into a young man?
(A young man who isn't too proud to curl up in a Winnie the Pooh blanket...I love that!) ;-) It looks like all of your kiddos are strtetching. Can't these guys just stay little for a while longer? ;)

Your book stash is making me drool. I am getting antsy to start buying/ordering, but we've got a lot of bills due this month. :P
I'm praying I can find some good stuff at the used book sale in a couple of weeks.
